Here are a few things I\u2019d like you to know about me.<\/p>\n I\u2019m French, therefore English is not my mother tongue but I still decided to blog in both French and English because it helps me practise. Apologies for the bad spelling\/grammar ensuing.<\/p>\n I\u2019m currently working in IT, most of my days being spent on network and\u00a0database administration, web dev\u00a0and helpdesk (i.e. mostly telling people to turn it off and on again).<\/p>\n I don\u2019t tend to hang around people, and get easily exhausted by everyday tasks and encounters. Depending on those factors, there are times when I\u2019ll sleep 6 hours a day and start lots of new projects, and others when I\u2019ll sleep 12 hours a day and do nothing at all. Sadly, as I get older, there are way more of the latter.<\/p>\n I\u2019m also keen on acquiring extended knowledge on various subjects that catch my interest, and I get very excited about things that have absolutely no effect on my entourage, like the release of some author\u2019s new book, the latest board game, something I learned from the last episode of QI or a meme picture I found on Pinterest.<\/p>\n While being physically a girl, and intending to remain that way\u00a0(as in, whatever, I don\u2019t really care as long as I don\u2019t get periods), I strongly identify as genderqueer.<\/p>\n At the beginning of 2017, as I was approaching my 40th birthday, I decided to stop eating meat for good. Soon I found myself in great need of arguments to oppose people who suddenly caught an interest in what I was eating.
